This project started off simple enough— glue Up a panel lid, construct a frame, & connect it all together. The added challenge came from my desire to create this project without any hardware. Serendipitously, I came across a similar project from Japanese Carpenters Hisao & zui hanafusa where using a tenon, wedge, and carefully placed rabbets, I could make a self-locking folding leg without a single piece of hardware.
